I had my checkup with the sinus dr today and she is liking how things are going.

So that is really good news.

We had a fun addition to the family today :)

One of the retired Fire guys that Brent worked with shot a buffalo.

He just wanted the meat.

And he offered the head to us if we wanted it.

We did need to pay to have it cleaned up....

He also offered the hide to us.......but that would have been like $800, so we passed.

But today we got to bring the skull home.

Elsie didn't know anything about it and she was so excited about it!

EVERY SINGLE TIME we say have any kind of surprise and we ask 'guess what'....

She ALWAYS answers with 'Is it a real life Buffalo?'

Well, today when she got home from school, we told her we had a surprise.....and she answered with 'Is it a real life buffalo?'

Well, she was close :)

Anyway....we are pretty happy with it and we put it where it will greet people when they come to our house.

Elsie and I have a plan to dress him up for the holidays......so I am now on the search for a Leprechaun hat!!!!!
