Monday March 5

Dad and I finally went and got our licenses renewed.

We also went to the gym together and he put me through a weightlifting routine.

That was fun :)

Also, this morning, I had to take a picture of Porter listening to his book.

The last few days he has been listening for hours to books he 'borrows' from the library.

It is so great!

He gets ready for school, and then cuddles up and listens to the books :)

Elsie had PT today.

She must have had a growth spurt lately.....

Her sleep patterns have been messed up.

Luckily, she doesn't wake up and cry anymore like she used to.

But I did have to change the password on her kindle because she would get up at 5 and watch Netflix!

So I changed the password and when I went to wake her up this morning at 7:$5, I was so happy she got some sleep!!!!

BUT....then she said she had woken us, read in three of her books, played with her toys for a little bit, THEN WENT BACK TO SLEEP!!!!

Little stinker!!!!!

I mean, it makes me happy she is reading....but not at 4 in the morning!!!!!

So she was a bit tired at PT, but she still worked hard.

On the way home, we drove past the Boise temple.

Every time we pass by we always sing 'I love to see the Temple' :)

Another fun thing, I should start recording it.....she came up with a 'game' we play on the drive home from PT.

It is usually a longer drive home because of it being rush hour....

She asks questions like 'How did you meet dad', and I will ask her 'What was your favorite vacation'.....and we go back and forth asking questions and it really is a lot of fun!

Then this evening, Elsie was in charge of FHE.

She went over her 'Tool box' that she learned at school.

Different 'tools' we can use in different situations.

The breathing tool, empathy tool, patience tool.

She did a great job and I just love watching her grow into a Young Woman!

Cassi started Rugby today....she has been very excited about that :)

It will be fun to watch her play, but we all have no clue what the rules are!!!!!!!!
