First day of spring!!!!
I am so excited for the weather to get good!
We went to our morning date to the gym :)
I was gonna prune some more trees, but it was starting to drizzle, so I didn't.
Ha ha......lazy I guess.
Maybe I can get some done tomorrow....
Drew and Heather invited us out to lunch today.
We went to Zupas and had a nice time chatting and hanging out.
It is so great to have such an awesome and lasting friendship :)
After lunch, we went and got grocery shopping done.
You know.....we were talking the other day about what it will be like when he retires.....
We are so lucky to be able to spend so much time together!
Some people retire and then find out they don't really like being with their spouse!
Lucky us, we spend so much time with each other every day doing all the things, and we still like each other :)
I'd pick him over anyone, any day!
We got home and put the groceries away.
Madi was home by then and Cassi not too long after.
I got to go to the school and watch the parent preview of the maturation video that Elsie gets to watch on Thursday!
So that was fun..........
When Cass got home from rugby, we had an awesome dinner that dad made.
Hamburgers, but not just your plain-jane burgers.
He mixed sweet potato and onions and bacon in the hamburger and made that into patties!!!
YUM!!!!
The 'family economy' seemed to go over pretty good today.
A few reminders.....eventually they are supposed to get to the point where they don't get reminded.
If they do the job, they get paid.
If not, they don't.
The chores you put on the list are not things that are a major thing to get done for the house to run.
Just things that are nice to have done.
Sooooo....if they choose not to do them, it doesn't disrupt the household.
It will be a learning curve, but I am liking it so far!
I really loved seeing the time-management that especially the older girls used to get everything done!
