I got up and went for a run before I came back home and gathered up some Beehives to decorate a new-comers birthday :)
That is always fun for the girls to do.
I got laundry done....more laundry.
I really wanted to get all the things packed early today....but I just kept putting it off.
I was dragging big time and decided that I needed a little nap.
Laundry was going at the time and Cassi was cleaning the kitchen for me while Elsie painted and Port played with Cannon....and Madi was at work.
Then at about 3:30, our neighborhood ladies went to a fun little paint party.
I think we all had a fun time.
I helped Elsie out...but not much.
I did do the tree at the end because her arm was tired.
We also decided to do rocks around the pond...and she noticed on was looking like a buffalo and she wanted me to make it into a buffalo :)
I was starting to make it a buffalo head Drinking out of the water, but she said no, it was half the body.
And pointed out what it should look like and where the horns should be.
I think it turned out way better than what I had envisioned!
I told her she needed a mama buffalo inside the tent, but she decided against that......
She did want to add a fire, so I did do that for her too.
She did such a good job painting it and listening to instructions.
I did draw lines and then have her color them in, like the shape of the tent, and how much to color blue at the top and green at the bottom.
I just love all her paint strokes in it.
I want her to spend more time doing art!!!!
She's got a knack!
She definitely ran the show on this painting, and I was just there to help when her arm was tired :)
The big girls did an awesome job too!
I love how it is all the same idea, but they are all so different too!
Madi and I talked about it a lot.....WE NEED TO DO THIS!!!
We have the perfect set-up for something like that in our basement!
It would be a lot of fun, I think :)
I guess we need to clean that place up first.......
Anyway.
After that, we got home and ate dinner and then started to get things packed.
Cass went babysitting, I took Port to a few stores for some things.
We are going to attempt family pictures while in Oregon, and I needed a couple other things :)
And when I got home, Madi left with the Morgan's to a swim party.
I just got the little ones to bed and I am waiting for mad, and for the last load of laundry to get ready to put in the dryer.
Then I will go to bed!
We are excited for our trip to Oregon tomorrow!
Crossing our fingers the trip goes really well!
Cassi's, Elsie's, then Madi's
