Man, I did not have much energy today!!!!!

But I still went to the gym.

When I got home we started work on the house.

We got some painting done :)

And Dad got the window trim up on the dormers and the metal corners up too!

Yay!!!!!

It looks pretty darn good!

You know...I keep thinking, would I appreciate the trim THIS much if we would have just gotten it done all at the same time....probably not :)

Ha ha ha.....

Loving each step of the process, no matter how long it takes :)

So that took a lot of the day, getting that stuff done.

Madi took the kiddos out to lunch today, so that was fun.

Then she went and hung out with Kara for a few hours.

Kyra, Avery and Stacia came over to give Elsie her birthday gift.

The cutest little buffalo key-chain and some skittle....also a date to go to lunch together!

Yum!

Dad and I also went out and worked on my couch project....still no pictures....

Port also worked on his bike and did a great job fixing it!

Elsie had a major meltdown because I asked her to read for 10 minutes..... :(

She did end up doing it, but man, that girl sure is persistent when she doesn't want to do something!!!!!

Madi came home about the same time Cassi left to go babysitting.

Madi babysat for us and Dad and I went out on a date :)

Kind of a little Captain celebration.

We decided on Olive Garden :)

Then we ran some errands, went to Deseret book, then ran to station 7 to pick up all his stuff.

He accumulated a lot of stuff in the last 15 years there!

Kind of  sad moving all his stuff out.

He will be swinging now, for who knows how long.

Could be at a different station every shift.

Then we went to the store....of course.

We will be leaving Sunday, so we needed to get a few supplies.

It was fun spending so much time with him today...even if those metal corners made him really mad up on the roof earlier today ;)
