Porter and dad worked all morning together to put a barn roof on the playset :)
It was the cutest thing.
Port was being so helpful and having so much fun!
I wish I had an in-action shot of them.....
But I think the cutest thing was when Port came in to grab a tool for dad.
I told him to ask Dad if he wanted a Turkey sandwich, a tuna fish sandwich or a peanut butter sandwich.
I also asked what he wanted.
He said that he would ask dad, and that he wanted peanut butter.
I came outside with him when he went back out.
We asked dad and he said Turkey....and Port said, ya, I want Turkey too :)
Then I asked dad if he wanted toasted bread, and he did.
I asked Port and he hesitated them said no.
So i got started on the sandwiches and he came running back in and said "Never-mind, I want toasted like dad!"
I smiled then asked if he wanted Mayo or miracle whip.......and he said he wanted whatever dad was having :)
It was just the cutest thing.
And such a great example of how much this kid loves his dad and wants to be like him :)
Made me smile.
Cassi and I mowed the lawn this morning.
Madi babysat again all day.
Elsie spent a lot of time outside helping out and she also took a bike ride to Sierra's house and she hung out there for a little bit.
She is doing really good on her bike!
Eventually we all ended up home and ate the Pizza Madi picked up on the way home from babysitting.
Then we got everything ready for our Mutual activity.
We were combined YW/YM and they all came to our house to watch a movie outside :)
It was so much fun!
We borrowed a projector, but I am REALLY wanting to get one now!!!!!
How fun would that be to have movie nights outside!!!!!!
Some kids brought cars made out of cardboard to make it a drive in :)
I think we had a good turn-out for the summer and it was a lot of fun!
We watched Saturday's Warrior, the new one.
Now I want to watch the old one again!!!!!
Dad and I taking a break when all the kids were gone at one point today :)
