Monday January 16

Oh man, I had a hard time sleeping last night!!!!
I still got up to workout with Cassi!
But I have been sleepy all day!
Madi headed to school.....she is driving this week.
Her first real time in the snow.
The main roads are all pretty good (for now) but our Mary lane road, still pretty bad.
Well, I got a call about 5 minutes after she left.
She said "Well, I didn't run into the mailbox, but I am stuck on some snow".
As she was backing out, she was doing a great job avoiding sliding into the mailbox and she kind of high centered herself on the snow bank on the other side :)
After some work, I got her pushed out and on her way!
Cassi's bus was about 25 minutes late.
Luckily a mom on the other side of the road, DJ, lets them sit in her car until the bus comes.
It was SOOOOO cold today!
They only let the kids out for one recess today, and it was only for a few minutes!
So cold!
Dad left to help Justin again today.
I worked on cleaning out my old closet downstairs, which will be our food storage room.
There is all kinds of stuff needing to get thrown away in there!
And it feels good to finally get a chance to go through it!
At about 2, I went over and helped Stacia with some house cleaning.
I can't believe it is only one week until they leave!!!!!
Paul drove Brent to go and pick up the Suburban, the finally got fixed!
And, just like a little kid, he thought he would test out the 4-wheel drive :)
I had to laugh when he called me and told me I needed to come and pull him out with the truck because he got stuck in the snow.
Boys will be boys :)
Tonight, dad and me made a new dinner.
It was a Jamaican hamburger patty, and it turned out really yummy!
It was a lot of fun cooking together too :)
For FHE we listened to a talk by Pres. Benson and delivered by Pres. Hinckley.
It was called "Beware of Pride".
It was such a great talk, listen to it is you get a chance.
This is one of the lessons we decided on when we chose our family theme to Do Everything in LOVE.
In order to love fully, we must not be prideful.
I think it was a great little family lesson tonight :)
