Wednesday August 3

Sea World day!!!!!!
The park opened at 9, and we wanted to get there early.
We left our place at about 8:30 and got there just before 9.
We went right in the park and as soon as it opened the big kids, and Port started going on rides :)
Then it was non stop until we left at about 6.
The shows were amazing!
Oh man......Elsie was so excited about everything!
We should have rented a stroller in the beginning of the day, but it was about 1 or so that we got the stroller for Elsie and it made things much easier.
Poor girl was so worn out!!!!!!
And hot....but we bought her one of those fans that spray water......and she was a happy camper on her stroller :)
The shows here were just amazing!
Elsie's favorite was the Dolphin show.....we went to that one twice.
My favorites.......Dolphins, or maybe the Pet show......that was fantastic!
But the Sea lion show was hilarious!
Of course there is the Shamu show!
Just magnificent creatures!
The last show we went to was the Cirque De Mar.......unbelievable!!!!!
One of the guys had those jet ski boot things.
That s something that MUST be seen in person!
I am so sad that my phone was dead so I couldn't record the act.....
Brent said that never in his life has he wanted to be someone SO BAD!
It really was just incredible!
So really, you can't pick a favorite!
Elsie did go on one ride.
She went on the sky tower thing.
We started going up to it and then she started having a major panic.
Like total temper tantrum and she would not listen to us at all.....
So Dad took her down the line.
He calmed her down and then one of the workers came up to Brent and asked very nicely.....if his daughter had Autism.
Brent replied that she did have CP, and then she gave Brent some move to the front tickets.
I knew about these for Disneyland, and I guess I should have guessed it would be the same for Sea World....
But then she helped dad give her a little pep talk, reassuring her that it was just like an elevator.
And guess what?
She came back up!
And she LOVED it!!!!!!
Well then they got to use those tickets to jump to the front of the next ride :)
So that was nice to not have to wait so long for them to wait in line!
On our way out, we stopped by the gift shop where everyone got some fun souvenirs.
Elsie had already gotten hers.....a colorful Dolphin named rainbow :)
Port picked out a stuffed hammerhead shark and the girls got some jewelry and a key chain.
When we got home we made dinner and ate out on our cute patio.
And we all got to bed at a pretty good time.
Well, the little ones did.
The big girls went with the Thomsons to see the firework show that they do at Sea World.
