Tuesday August 2

We woke up and got all packed up to check out of the Hotel.

We wanted to go up the Stratosphere until we found out it was $25 per person!

So we went and saw The Pawn Shop, and that was kind of fun.

And then we went to the Las Vegas Temple.

It was just beautiful......and the girls were excited to go and do baptisms.

Only one problem......Madi forgot her recommend :(

But luckily we were able to contact one of our counselors and they let her in.

While they were in there, the little ones and I walked around the temple and we ended up talking about fighting like the Dragons in the Book of Mormon :)

Look in Mosiah 20:11 and Alma 43:44.

Then I found a story in the Friend on my phone about the Dragons in the BofM too.

It was pretty fun :)

Well, then we were set to head to San Diego!

We got here a little earlier then Nancy and Russ and the girls did.

We got our stuff in our little beach front cottage....it is just so cute!

And just perfect!

Just a stones throw away from the beach!

Then when they got here and unloaded their stuff we went down to the beach.

My kiddos got to see the ocean for the first time in their lives and it was so cool :)

Elsie was not about to get in the water.......but loved the sand.

The rest of them, well, I kept yelling at them to not go so far!

They were having so much fun.

Dad was out with them and got Port to ride the waves, body-surfing :)

He loved that!

Then it got dark and everyone was hungry......

So we left the kids and took a drive to Walmart to get groceries for the next few days,

So it was a late dinner and then it was bed time.

They are so excited about Sea World tomorrow!
