It was a stormy morning today!
Cassi left early to go to choir practice......turns out it was only her and the choir director and his daughter!
Awww.....hopefully more show up.
They are gonna switch the time so maybe more will attend!
Church was great.
I enjoyed Sacrament meeting.
And I enjoyed Sunday school....
Oh and hey, I enjoyed YW too :)
I just wish we had transcripts for all the classes!
I told the lady who spoke in Sacrament that maybe she could just print off her talk for me :)
Ha ha.....
Anyway.
There was still more rain on and off throughout the day.
Cassi had a BYC meeting after church, that is why their picture is separate.
Dad made a yummy teriyaki chicken for diner tonight.
Even Porter ate it, and he never eats!!!!!!
Dad took a nap later on and I cut some quote things out for cap.
It is getting closer and closer.......
I am excited and I think it will be a great camp this year!
For our Conference Talk today we listened to Elder Bednar's talk 'Always Retain a Remission of Your Sins.'
I love how he spoke of our Ordinances of Baptism, laying on of hands, and the sacrament.
I loved when he talked about how just taking the sacrament doesn't do anything for us.
You must take upon those promises and then you will get the reward of always having his spirit to be with you.
And I knew that.......
But I like hearing it again and re-committing myself to do a better job at keeping those promises I make when I take the sacrament.
