Brent got an overtime shift today.
I got up and ran a quick 7 miles before I took Madi to the Young's house.
They are having a family reunion and Kara doesn't have anyone her age.....so they invited Madi to come with Kara.
And they have had so much fun all day.
Here at home......
Well, I worked on stuff for girls camp.
I tried to get the kiddos to help out around the house......and they were pretty good :)
After lunch we went to the library so I could make some color copies.
The kids were excited about that!
It has been a while since we have been to the library!
And Elsie got to come home with the American Girl doll Samantha!
She is super excited about her :)
And Port got about 7 Robot books.
That kid....he cracks me up!
We found a cute book called 'Toys meet snow' but it was at the cherry lane library.
It is about a stuffed buffalo and his friends!
So we had them hold it and send it to our library.
But as we were driving home, we just decided to stop by cherry lane.
Well, after about 30 minutes the lady finally figured out that it was actually at the Boise library instead of there :(
So we will have to wait until it comes here.
But I found on Amazon that there are three other books that have the same stuffed animals!!!!
I might have to get those for a certain someones birthday coming up!!!!!
Anyway, we got some pizza on the way home.
I chatted with Vern a little bit when we got home.
She is leaving for two weeks on Tuesday :(
I'll miss having her around!
I did more girls camp stuff....
Port started making himself a Robot.....with wood and painters tape :)
He may need some better supplies...
We watched a little bit of some recorded America's got Talent and then we got the little ones to bed early!!!!!
Yay!
I am so tired!
I can't wait to get to bed!
Madi just got home and said she had so much fun :)
We do love the Young family!
I didn't get any pictures of Cass today....but she did play a lot of guitar today.
She is trying to figure out some chords to go with the Press Forward youth theme song to sing at camp.....
It is proving to be a bit difficult, but I know she can do it :)
