We got to church on time today....
And I knew I had to go to BYC, so we even got the picture taken before church!
I got to teach Brent's class because his partner teacher had to stay home with a sick kid.
Then I got to teach YW because my adviser's kids are sick :(
Some of the time got taken up in YW when they set apart the new Beehive presidency.
Cass was chosen as the Beehive president and that is pretty exciting!
I didn't even submit her name, the other leaders did......and I know this is the perfect calling for her right now.
She is a great connection between the girls already from our ward and the new girls coming in.
She already knew a lot of the girls and I know she will be a good bridge to bring all the girls together.
I am excited for her and this new calling.
So she got to go to BYC with me after church, so that was fun :)
After church we ate and the kids played.
We got our conference talk in too.
We listened to Neil L. Anderson's talk 'Whoso Receiveth Them, Receiveth Me'
I really loved the quote and will love having it hang on the wall for this next week :)
A quote that I loved from the talk was 'A child's earthly situation may not be ideal, a child's spiritual DNA is perfect. Because ones true identity is a Child of God.'
God loves his children.
We need to open our arms and let others in, no matter their family situations, beliefs, or trials.
Love is the answer.
Just love.
After dinner we were invited to the Morgan's house for a dessert and get to know you thing.
She had invited some of the families in the ward, so it was nice to get to know new people.
I met someone who is from Evanston......CRAZY!
And she even graduated with Brookie!
Small world!
I am sad that Brent had to work tonight........but I am sure we will do it another time.
.....cause Brent loves to mingle like that ;)
We got home and got the chores done and junk cleaned up from when they were playing earlier in the day and somehow it was 9:45 and Elsie was asleep on the couch!
She was zonked!
She was up at 5 this morning, and it was a long day :)
Hope she sleeps good!
