After I took the little ones to school today, Dad and I brought the bottom of the island in so I could get primer on them.

Still not sure on the color for the island......I think I will wait until the top is all on and finished before I decide on the island paint.

Anyway, we got those in and I started putting the primer on.

Then I had to take a quick break to run the Morgans to the airport.

They are on their way to Hawaii!

So fun for them!

While I was gone, Dad went to Lowes to get some other supplies, mainly the ship-lap boards :)

So we got that put on.

We also got a fun visit from Pat and Steve.

They brought a little Thanksgiving treat for the fam.

It was nice to see them for a little bit.

So I got the island all primed, then I had to shower so I could make it to Port's birthday/class thanksgiving celebration :)

He wanted me to bring Krispy Kreme donuts for the treat.

Since the kitchen was a mess, I decided to get the donuts for him :)

Today was the election for student counsel.......and Cassi made it!!!!!!!

So proud of her!

I know she will be fantastic!!!!

Madi went to Cam's house after school today for a little bit.

Oh, here is a great example of what great friends Madi has.

Her friend's mom has been battling Breast cancer.

Last month she was in cleared!

Great news.

But she had to go back in for some surgery today.

Last night, Madi texted all her friends to wear their 'Snook Strong' t-shirt that they had made a while ago for the Breast cancer walk they did together.

Anyway, so they all showed up to school in their t-shirts and Karly was so surprised and happy.

It was such a sweet little gesture to let their Karly know they are there for her and her mom.

Madi has a picture I wanted to post, but she forgot to send it to me.

I will be posting it though :)

So tonight, Dad and I thought we needed a little break.

A little US time, away from the house stuff!

So we went to see the Hunger Games movie.

I thought it was good.

It was just so nice to get out!

So Madi has school tomorrow, but the rest of the kids are all done until after Thanksgiving!

It;s gonna be a fun time!!!!!
