It was a rough morning for Elsie bug.

She slept in and I had to coax her awake.

She was happy, but her legs were not working!

Like really not working.

She was walking like they had both fallen to sleep.

She just could not get them under her....and she just kept falling.

I thought she was just being goofy at first, but after eating breakfast and getting dressed, she was still having a hard time getting around without falling.

Made me very sad :(

Usually, I tell her to relax while walking, and you can feel her body relax (when you are holding her hand) and it is easier for her to walk.

But today, you could tell she was trying, but she just couldn't.

It was rainy today, so I am sure that could be a factor.

Weather is always a factor.

But it could also be from the taping.

We are trying to do it in short increments.......and it is working so well!

But since it is working well, it is working muscles that are not used to being worked so much.

So I need to definitely do more intensive massaging and stretching for sure.

But she was a very happy girl this morning and excited about school.

I helped in her class this morning.....

If I hadn't already had that planned I probably would have kept her home.

But since I could be there with her if she was struggling, I figured we would just go.

And she did great.

She still fell a lot......but she said she had a great day :)

I picked her up a little early to take her to PT with Katie.

Katie did some massaging and stretching.

We took some pre-tape video and then put the tape on.

You can really tell the difference!

When she is walking towards you, you can see the bottom of her foot as she steps!

Crazy!

It is usually her toe sliding forward.

So, yes, it will take a while to get used to it.

But I think this will be so great!

I guess we need to get a hot tub for her to lounge in at night ;)

She was a pretty good girl and got her homework done even though she was so exhausted.

She is a hard worker, that Elsie bug!
