Sunday October 4

I told the kids that I should take a picture of them in their lay-around-conference-day-clothes.
I have been doing it every Sunday, and I thought it would be funny with them not all dressed up :)
Lucky me, they didn't say no!
So here we are in our scroungy clothes.
Elsie did get herself dressed up but forgot to put her undershirt on.
And we are lucky that Port actually has clothes on......he is usually in his undies :)
So here they are, my cute kiddos.......
But I must have brainwashed them after all these years of coordinated outfits!
Cause look, they still match!
And I had nothing to do with it!
Makes this weird mom proud :)
So I got to sleep in until 8, which is just great with me!
We had breakfast and then watched conference.
I have really spoiled myself with listening to conference while I run......cause it is HARD to watch with them kiddos!
Okay, hard when Port is around.
I let him bring down his Lego's to keep his hands busy while we listened.
He made some fun stuff :)
The first being the Iron Rod and the Tree of Life.
He also made some couches and a TV to watch conference :)
A covered wagon, our family, and the podium that they were speaking a in during conference.
It worked wonders!
Yay for Legos!
So it was a pretty good day.
After dinner, we started watching the session we missed yesterday.
But the little ones were so exhausted!
So we cut it short and got them in bed at 7:45!
Yay!
I spent the evening doing dishes.
I think our dishwasher gave up the ghost.
I'm not sure....but during conference we kept smelling a weird smoke kind of smell and it was the strongest by the dishwasher, so i turned it off and it seemed to get better.
So we will let Dad check it out tomorrow and see what he thinks.
I really enjoyed the talks I got to listen, but I am extra excited to listen to them again while I run :)
