Monday October 12

The smoke in the air was so bad today!
When we got to school it looked like a ghost town.....all the kids were playing inside because the school district didn't want them out when the air quality was on 'red'.
I really had my heart set on running, but didn't want to if it was bad.
About 10:30 I decided to just do it.
It wasn't too bad, I did have to stop more, but it was a good workout.
I am trying to get back into a routine!
If I miss a day (for any reason)....it is easier to miss the next day :(
When I got back home, Dad and I went to find ourselves a new dishwasher.
Ours finally burned up.
Something in the front panel.
But we have had enough trouble with that dishwasher, it wasn't worth trying to fix it.
Finding the dishwasher took all day.
We found one, but they didn't have it in stock at the Meridian store, so we had to go out to Boise to get it.
Got home about 2ish.
Dad got the dishwasher installed.
Yay!
It does look pretty :)
There is  bit of a crease on the stainless steal front panel.
Not very noticeable......but still, kind of a bummer when you spend so much money.
The wooden pallet that it was boxed on was cracked.
So I wonder if something happened while it was all packaged up.....
Anyway, just trying to decide now if it is worth taking it out and exchanging it :(
I made a yummy dinner tonight.
I really do enjoy cooking.
I can already tell that my bigger kitchen will make it easier, but it will be even better when it is finished :)
Anyway......the kids got homework done and then Madi gave a great FHE about having good attitudes.
It was a nice night.
We talked about when to do our family scripture study.
We used to go it before Madi left to school.....
But now with her in High School, that is way too early to wake Elsie up.
That girl needs her sleep or she gets really tight, and it makes the day harder for her.
So we haven't been doing it very good.
We decided we are going to try it when we say our evening family prayer.
I think it will be good :)
And then Port and Dad went and checked on the chicks, that are becoming less cute every day.....
Ha ha.....
He has loved following his Dad around lately.
Well, I guess he has always been like that, and it makes this mama happy :)
