We had such an amazing day.

So relaxing and fun!

We met up with the Youngs a little after 10.

Then we drove out to Grimes Creek.

We had never been there, but the Youngs had, and the spot they usually like was taken, but we still found a pretty great spot right on the creek.

We played in sand, in water, braided hair, stacked rocks, lots of rocks.....

Fished, had shooting contests, spied a bald eagle, had yummy lunch and lots of treats, and S'mores too!

Football tosses, naps on the sand, and good talks with friends.

Really, everything you could ask for in a afternoon with some of your very favorite people!

We left about 5ish to head home.

When we got home the big girls got ready and went with Dad to the high school football game.

I stayed home with the little ones and watched the new Cinderella movie.

I really did think it was a cute movie, Elsie loved it and Port, he tolerated it ;)

We also went and took care of the Morgan's dogs together.

The football game was a bloodbath, says dad.

With us winning by a long shot.

It was pink-out today for the students.

Madi's friend, Karly, had shirts made for all her friends that said Snooks Strong, with the Maverick mascot behind.

Her Mom is battling Breast cancer and these kids are the greatest supporters!

So anyway.....sleep now.
