This morning I had another Hawk attack.
I passed one hawk first.
It didn't seem to care I was there.
On the way back I saw the darker one, which I think it a youngster, and he didn't seem to care.
Then I crossed the road and there were two more sitting on a phone post and watching me.
I was trying to be very cautious going by them, when all of the sudden, a 4th one swoops down at me!
I screamed bloody murder and picked up a stick.
He came at me 2 more times, each time I threw a stick and each time I screamed bloody murder.
Don't judge.
It is a terrifying feeling!!!!!
I was so close to home....so I started to sprint, like faster than I think I have ever ran before in my life.......
I was so scared to even look back.
As I came along the back of the house, the kids were all on the deck asking me if I was okay!
They heard my screams and probably thought they were gonna go out and see their mom murdered!!!!!
They saw the Hawk dive bomb me the last time.
So scary!
I will be armed and ready tomorrow with a video camera to try and get it on camera!
I called the Bird rescue place and they gave me a number to a lady, but nothing can be done.
They cannot be moved.
She said that according to the Hawk, we are encroaching on their territory.
She said just run the other direction.
I DO!!!!!
I have gone in every direction I can.....they are always there!!!!
Not always aggressive, but always there!
She suggested I wear a hat :(
She also said to wait it out a few more weeks, and they should fly south by that time.
But they will be back next year!
Anyway.....
We had a lot of fun today.
Jenni called and invited us to go swimming with her clan.
It was a nice day and they all had a lot of fun.
I ran into a lot of old friends too at the pool, so that was fun.
We got home and I tried to get some sanding done around the edges, but I don't think the sander we have is gonna cut it.
It just doesn't get close enough to the wall.
The plan is for Brent to go rent the big sander when he comes home in the morning and we will get going on it.
Wish us luck!
We had a severe thunder and wind storm warning this evening.....
I was worried.
But no big branches fell, so that;s good.
I had my eye on some dead ones that I was hoping would break off....so much luck :(

Maybe it's your pony tail, they see it bouncing around or swinging and they think food??
