Tuesday May 5

I kept Cassi home today.
She woke up feeling motion sick and everything spinning.....
Dang it!
If she is still like this tomorrow, I will try and take her into Dr. Allie.
I am curious if it has anything to do with her concussion, or maybe stress.......
I Googled it and it seems like it could very well be related to the concussion.
I feel bad, cause there is really nothing you can do to help out with the motion sickness.
Now that I think of it, I should have maybe tried Dramamine......maybe I will try that tomorrow.
*****
Aaron Hale, Aaron Furhiman and Jason Woodard came over today.
Aaron and Aaron finished up the railing on the porch stairs and Jason worked on the bathroom floor.
Aaron Hale also finished up the last of the closets.
We also had Jeremy Woodland stop by.
he is trying to get our laundry chute figured out.
Man oh man!!!!!!
So many people helping out!
*****
I took the suburban to get registered today.
I was in and out, no problem.
On the way out, I was getting ready to pull onto Fairview when I heard a screech and crash.
I looked behind me and a truck had hit the back/side of a car that turned in front of it.
It wasn't a huge crash and I watched everyone pull over and get out okay.
But, I kid you not...it was the craziest thing.....I started getting all worked up and crying and nervous and remembering sounds and then thinking about what the kids must have felt and heard in the accident......
It was all so overwhelming.
It took me a second to get control of myself.....
I did not like feeling like that.
I don't want that to happen anymore!
*****
Madi had PT today.
That went well and she was graduated to some tougher exercises.
Which is good.
Things seem to be getting a bit better for her.
Which is great!
I sure hope we can avoid an other more invasive treatments!
*****
The Lovelands invited us over to dinner tonight.
Only and thing was that we left Cassi and Dad behind.
Maybe I could have cancelled.....but I thought it would be good for the kids to get out and have a little fun.
Cassi just still felt lousy....and dad...
Well, dad had another rough day.
He didn't even get up.
So he stayed and hung out with Cass.
We had some yummy taco's and then they got to swim for a little while.
It was so nice of them to have us over.
I am so grateful for the wonderful people in our life!

It will take time Kim but eventually that panic mode will fade and go into the background. You may not have been physically injured but you have some "experience" injuries that will take time to heal. Just know that you are so amazing to hold your sweet family together and accomplish so much every single day! You are truly a hero! You are my hero!!
