Today was pretty amazing.
I guess it was organized for people to come out today to help on the house.
It floors me the willingness that people have to give up precious time on their Saturdays to help out others.
We had about 15 people from our ward family over today helping us get stuff done in the house.
We are desperately trying to get occupancy, and they seem to want us in there as bad as we do!
Everyone is so willing to do whatever they can.
Serving above and beyond what they need to do.
I am so very grateful to be so blessed in our lives.
Closets got worked on today, 'beauty rings' were put up in the can lights (Thanks Bishop and Suzi).
We got trim started on doors, the back rails on the deck, vents put in the rooms (that was a code requirement that seemed kinda silly to me.....).
Floors started going down in the bathroom.
I know wood in the bathroom probably isn't the ideal in the bathroom....but it was our left over wood, and our neighbors (Vern) left over wood from their floors......so doing it that way was much cheaper to do then buying the cheapest vinyl stuff we could find.....
The railing on the deck steps got started and I am so excited with how it is turning out!!!!
Probably about a good months work on work got done today cause there were so many hands to help.
How do you pay back something like that???
Not just today....
But the Drew and Heather and Aaron Hale.....all the time they spend here.
Just to help us.
It is pretty humbling.
And how do you repay that kind of thing?????
Anyway....
Just feeling very grateful for the willing hands that have helped out family through the hard times we have had.
We know we are where we are supposed to be, surrounded by the people we are supposed to be with.
It is a pretty neat feeling to know that :)

Can't forget to mention the cookies that Bubbles stopped by with.
She said that they saw there were lots of cars at our house.....and so she made cookies.
Her and Eldon walked a plate full down to us with a jug of milk.
Oh how we love her (Eldon too :).
She is always so thoughtful and, well, bubbly :)

Lots of little friends around today to play with too!
After they got morning chores done int he house, they did some weeding outside then I let the play.
Madi went swimming at the Morgans house for a little while.
Cassi had her friends Carli and Kaili over.
Elsie had Kaili's sister Malia here too.
Later in the day, Nichole (Kaili and Malia's mom) came and picked them up and took them to her house.
She took Porter too to play with her little Porter :)
They had a ton of fun, and she brought them home around 5:30 with dinner in hand as well.
I had not even given one thought to making any dinner tonight.
I was so grateful to her.
So sweet of her to think of my little family.
We are so blessed!
This evening Cassi had a choir thing.
Our ward choir was invited to sing at another church this evening.
Sounds like it was a lot of fun.
The raise you hands and sing hallelujah type church.
Dancing and arm waving.
The Burks took Cassi there and took her to dairy queen afterwards.
How fun :)
They came in to talk and have a look around the place when they brought Cassi home.
It was a good visit.
It is always fun talking with Michelle :)
I tell her she always makes me feel like things are just gonna be okay!
