Tuesday April 7

I promise it won't be goose pictures forever around here :)
Little Honkers (Honks for short), jumped out of the box today.
Getting bigger already.
When Cassi came home, she noticed some blood on Honkers beak.
Well, as we checked things out, we saw that Honks had walked back in forth on the inside of the closet door, rubbing his beak along the door each time, trying to get out to be with the kids.
So sad :(
But he is okay.
We stuck a mirror in with him so maybe he won't be so lonely.
We may end up getting a duck or chick from D&B to keep him company.
Today the kids put him in water to see him swim.
He's a natural :)
*****
We had an insurance guy come over this morning.
I hate to have to deal with all this stuff.
It is a hassle, but has to be done.
So many things to think about......
But we will get it figured out.
Once we got Port from school, we had lunch and then took dad to do his x-rays.
Well, I guess the hospital couldn't read the drs handwriting, and they couldn't get a hold of him.
So they want us to go back tomorrow once they figure out what he wants.
Oh well, I guess it was nice to get out anyway :)
*****
Both the big girls had headaches again at school.
Both of them did not take the SBAC tests that started today.
I think it is too much, too soon, for their brains.....and the school nurses agreed with me.
They will be able to make them up when they are feeling better.
*****
Aaron Furhiman came over today with a little computer gun game kind of thing.....
Haven't figured it out yet......but dad is super excited about it :)
And we also got some awesome sweet and sour meatballs from Tiffani Clinger for dinner.
They were a big hit!
Seriously....meals may not seem like a very big deal.....but I can tell you, feeding my family has been the last thing on my mind.
I feel like I have a million things I am trying to balance and figure out......
And it is just so nice not to have to worry about food right now.

Cute little Honks!

I hope the headaches go away soon for Madi & Cass. I'm glad the school nurse is working with you and them.

THese pict are so cute! Im glad your all doing better!
My client just got in a bad car accident she got bad whip lash. She has been going to a chiropracter that does a massage then adjusts. I think her insurance covers it . I wonder it that would help your girls? Hope they feel 100/ soon ! Hugs
