Poor Madi was home again today.
Started the day off with a 102 fever again.
She is feeling a lot better this evening, and she is hoping to go to school tomorrow....so we will see.
Her cute friends, Karley and Camryn stopped by and brought her some ice cream, and to tell her they missed her.
How sweet.

Port went to school, and he had a good day, so that is good!
We had a leprechaun come and turn our milk green for today's St. Patrick's day festivities :)
And left footprints all over the place.
Port made me a cute leprechaun over the weekend, so he was a great decoration on the fridge.
I painted more......
Got the trimming done in the bathrooms and the ship-lap done with it's second coat.
I painted MOST of the wall above the ship-lap.....as much as I could reach.
The rest will require a ladder.
Now I only have the one room next to the kitchen to paint.
I mixed my own paint for that room :)
I used Port's green, mixed with the grey blue I have been using, and a little bit of the white.
I think it will be a nice greenish-bluish color.
And I didn't have to buy another gallon of paint.
I'm resourceful like that :)
Dad worked more in the bathroom, getting the cement board all fixed up around the shower so we can tile that.
I did have to make a run to the store today to get some St. Patrick's goodies.
I got some lucky charms and marshmallows to make a little after school rice crispy type snack.
We also took a plate full to Bubbles and Elden.
I made some pizza, per Madi's request.
I made a green crust pizza.
While the kids were finishing up eating, dad and I took some green pizza to Bubbles and Elden.
When we took the treats earlier, I asked her if she already had dinner planned, because I was making green pizza.
She said she had plenty of leftovers, but she wanted to try that green pizza :)
So we took her some and sat and talked to her for a little while, and that was nice.
She is doing good....but dang!
It's gonna be a rough recovery.
Then later after dinner and homework, we had Leprechaun floats as a family.
Good times :)
