 We decided that while they are working inside on the drywall, we can work on the railing for the deck.

Since that is one of the things we need to have done to get our 'occupancy permit'.

I am excited with how it is turning out.

It took a while for us to decide what to do.....and agree on what to do ;)

We started by wrapping the posts up front.

And Dad put together one of the rails....and I think it will be cute.

I plan to paint them white :)

We had a couple boys from the ward come over and dig out the trench for the plumbing in the backyard.

So nice to have that done and not have to worry about Brent digging it up!

Madi and Cassi wanted to make some cookies, so I left them the recipe, and left them to it.

When I came back in later, they were on their third batch.

All had failed so far.....and this one didn't look right either.

So I asked Madi what she put in....and she showed me.

I told her I wouldn't blog about it.....

So it sufficeth to say that we were no less in the flour department.....

But the powdered sugar jar had a lot less in it :)

It made me laugh.

It made us all laugh :)

It was YW tonight and we were combined with the YM.

We did speed friend-shipping, and I think it turned out fun for everyone.
