Saturday January 10

My main goal today was to wash sheets, do laundry and do dishes.
Well, there was a kink thrown in the day when our shower clogged up again.
And I couldn't use anything that drained.
We tried all our usual tricks.....nothing.
So we called roto rooter again.
They came back in September.
After about 2 hours with pipe cameras and all kinds of tools, he got things figured out.
Different pipes are ran weird ways.....shower doesn't even have a vent.
Anyway, yes it ended up being a hair ball.....come on 6 people in this one teeny tiny shower!
Bound to have hairballs.
Plus the pipe is smaller than the normal shower pipe.
So that's not cool.
Anyway, since the problem is the same as the last time roto rooter came, and it wasn't solved at that point (according to this guy), he didn't charge us.
So that's cool.
We just need to use the special drain stuff we got twice a month instead of once a month.
I suggested shaving all the girls heads.
The boys thought that was a good idea :)
Madi and Cassi went to Bubbles house to shower, which worked out great.
She also sent an apple pie over to us.
Sooooo yummy!
By the time the roto rooter guy left it was almost 3.
I had promised Madi we would go shopping with her Christmas money to get clothes.
And Cassi was going with Lily and Carli to Wahooz to use their Fit for Fun ticket.
Madi and I had a fun time together.
We both got some cute stuff, but mostly her.
We also made a Winco stop.....cause I am the worst grocery shopper ever and always forget important stuff and have to make three stops to the grocery store and always end up spending 3x more than I would if I got it all the first trip!
(drives me crazy!!!!)
But we both enjoyed ourselves and had some down time that I think both of us needed :)
Dad hung out with the little ones, and they had fun.
We had some boys in the ward, Mason and Braden, come over and clean stuff up around the house.
That was nice of them.
They had planned to dig a tench we need to for the new plumbing outside....but with the ground frozen, we told them to wait on that.
So the day was pretty much wasted with waiting for the drain to work, but we got stuff done anyway.

Sorry you day didn't work out how you wanted, but that is nice that the RotoRooter guy didn't charge you. I want to see the cute stuff you and Madi got! :o)
