Wednesday September 10

Well, it is hard to get back into the swing of things.

It was late start today, and I still got the little ones to school TARDY!

I am sure it will take a couple days to get back with the routine.

I can tell you....we sure missed Emmy!

Elsie kept talking about all the things she got to do with Emmy.

We love having her around!!!!

I forgot to take a good shot of the deck after our work today....

But I got one with my phone.

It's a panoramic shot, so not all the lines line up....but I promise, it looks awesome :)

It is exciting to see it, and walk around the house on it.

I love it!!!!!

I think tomorrow we will start with finishing the siding on that side of the house.

Then when dads starts teaching his classes next week, I can start painting the house!

So very exciting!!!

Madi's cross country meet was moved to today instead of tomorrow....

We took Porter to Cannon's house and picked up the girls from school then headed to Madi's school.

The meet starts at 4:00, but it rarely starts then because you usually have to wait for the other team to get there.....

We got there at 4:02, and Madi was already in her final lap!!!!

I think they must have started way early, which doesn't make me happy!

I got a shot of her as we pulled in the parking lot and then tried to walk around to get her at the finish line, but didn't make it in time :(

Don't know her time yet, she will find out tomorrow.....

But we think she did pretty dang good!

We will see.

I got her some foot arches from Wal-Mart, but have an appointment for her tomorrow to check her feet.

 I think her arches are falling and causing the problems in her knees and feet.

We will see what comes of it.

Right after the meet, Cassi had Activity Days (Elsie's is moved to tomorrow).

Then when she got home, we hurried and had dinner, then Madi and I left for Young Womans.

I guess this is how our Wednesdays will be from now on :)

The Beehives went to the MK Nature center for a nature walk.

It was a fun time.

It will be fun to get to know the girls better individually.

Elsie bug was unusually tired today.

She has had a fever on and off and up and down over the last week and a half.

Today, her poor body was so tired!

She was slow with walking, slow with talking.

She seemed to do good in school.

But did seem extra  physically exhausted.

Makes me sad!

I just wish she could pull through this, whatever it is!

She hasn't been coughing, and then tonight, when she went to bed, Brent said she kept coughing so bad, he had to pull her out because he thought she was going to throw up!

Poor girl, hope she gets some good sleep tonight!
