Dad got home late last night, and then left again for work this morning.

After my early run, I went out to see how Bob was and if he needed help.

He gave me a job to do.

We needed a header put above a section of the existing wall coming out.

So he wanted me to cut out the rim and put in the other stuff.

I don't know the technical terms.....but I did do a good job :)

After I did that, I had to hurry and take a shower and then go to a primary presidency meeting.

My poor kids.

I have not been a good mom....with a capital N for neglect!

No...okay, it's not that bad.

But I can tell things are taking a toll on them.

They are kind of sick of each other...and sick of Mom and Dad working all day while they do their own thing.

I got a couple calls from them while I was at my meeting.

I came home to fighting.

I figured they needed to get out.

So we went to the library, and then after that we ran to Wal-Mart to get some things Madi needs for girls camp.

Port had a meltdown like no other at the store.

He kept asking for me to buy stuff....and I kept telling him no.

By the time we made it to the checkout he had a box of Legos he wanted bad.

It wasn't gonna happen.

I took the box away and he was kicking and hitting and screaming.

Wow.

I kept my cool pretty good, considering what was happening.....

I knew this was not normal behavior for him, but it was still not acceptable.

We got out to the car, thankfully the other three realized that they needed to be really helpful for me :)

I talked with him and he whimpered and cried the whole way home.

We got home, and the girls unloaded the stuff while I took Port and we cuddled on the bed for a little while, until he calmed down.

It was a touchy thing...I didn't want him to fall asleep because it was too ate in the day.....

But some nice one-on-one downtime was definitely needed.

It helped.

We laid there for a while before we were ready to come out.

The rest of the night went pretty good.

We played outside, Elsie loves to play Americas Got talent :), and picked apricots and plums.

I think we need to make some jam tomorrow...........

I have a doctors appointment tomorrow....so ya, I am leaving them again :(

But hopefully they will all get some good sleep tonight and we can start fresh with a happy new day :)
