Porter has been so excited about getting the garden planted.

I guess that has been our thing the last few years :)

Today we actually planted a couple rows.

Hopefully we can get more done tomorrow.

He is a good little helper.

A little bossy though :)

No, he is a fun one to work with.

And I wish I had a noise recorder on him all the time, cause he is a pretty funny kid.

And a deep thinker too.

Dad spent all day figuring out pipes, and irrigation, and all that fun stuff.

Need to start getting water on that lawn before it turns all brown on us!

We got some rain drops this evening, so that is good :)

Cassi is just loving Miley.

Well we all are.

After school, Elsie and I took her some carrot treats.

Elsie thinks that is pretty cool!

She wants to ride her again, but we really need to get a bridle!

Anyway, Cassi wanted to take Miley for a walk, so she put the halter on and took her over to the other field with its nice lush grass :)

Miley liked that.

The lady that gave her to us said that Miley has no problem with being ridden bare back.

So Brent tried it out :)

Plopped Cassi up on there, and away they went.

Miley just walked back to the barn.

She must have been tired :)

But Cassi thought it was just the greatest thing.

I think she will be a great little horse rider.

Elsie will too, once we got all the gear!
