Porter didn't want to go to the gym today.....

But I told him we could stop by Youth Ranch to get his free book, and he agreed :)

Well, I also decided to look around a bit, I am always looking for a few things.

Patchwork quilts, metal cars/trucks/tractors/etc. , old frames, stuff like that.

Well, today we happened to find not one, but TWO Buffalo's!

I am actually surprised at how many Buffalo's I have found at thrift stores.

I guess people get them as souvenirs at Yellowstone and then the kids just don't ADORE them the way Elsie does, so they get chucked.

Well, I am okay with that :)

So was so excited to introduce her two new Buffalo's to the rest of her herd.

She sure makes me smile.

I am really trying to get myself to get the Buffalo Brave book put together.....I have been talking about it for a couple years now.

It is a story I used to tell Elsie when she first developed this Buffalo obsession....

I am kind of in love with the story and I think I have a great idea for the book illustrations.

So I am trying to get myself on that.......

I had Art Smart for Cassi's class today.

I think it went pretty good.

We will see when we get the mural all put together........

It is gallery night next month, so we will see then if my vision turns out :)

 

 

 

This guy is Lolo, the one Grandma Na sent a week ago. 

He is hand dyed wool by Grandma with black walnut husks.

Pretty cool....I am thinking she could sell these babies :)
