Oh it's Friday.

It was a nice day with nothing major to do on our list.

Brent worked an overtime shift this morning, so after going to the gym, we just took it easy for a little while.

Then we got to work finishing up Porters shelves for his room.

They turned out pretty great.

Dad wasn't sure how it was gonna work out....

Going into those dumb cinder brick walls is always tricky.

But it all worked out great.

The plan is to make a desk to go underneath it....but we will do that another time :)

After school, Cassi helped Dad round up Dandy, so we could move her over to the other field with the goats.

Now that her cow friends are gone, she needed some company.

Plus, she will be closer to the house this way :)

Well, it wasn't super easy.

Our neighbor had just given her snacks, so she wasn't super willing to come with us.

Cassi tried on her own to begin with, because Dandy doesn't like adults...but she kept backing away, so Dad went out to help.

They got close to her and Dad put his arm around Dandy's neck and Dandy went crazy.....Brent knew that if he let go, they would never be able to get close to her after that.....

So he held on.

Oh how I wish I had a video of it.

Brent actually ended up lifting her off the ground and knocking her down.

She got right back up, but by then she was pretty worn out and Brent just patted her and shushed her and she calmed down.

But it was pretty great to watch....our own little rodeo :)

Then Porter and Cassi helped dad take down the Christmas lights off the house while I made dinner.

After dinner, I don't know how it happened, but we somehow got into a Lego building contest :)

The boys and Elsie won for 'Tallest'.

And Cassi and Madi won for 'Most creative'.

It was a pretty fun night :)
