First of all....awesome day for Cassi!

She was elected to student council today!

I think this will be perfect for her.

She loves to be around people, she is friends with everyone, she works hard, and she loves to help out.

She is very excited and I am very excited for her too.

She wrote her speech a couple days ago, and has been practicing it.

I told her to for sure get it in her backpack last night so she wouldn't forget it.

Well, when she got to sleep, it wasn't in her bag, so I stuck it in for her.

Didn't want her to lose it :)

Well, I guess she got it out at lunch time to read over it....and left it there to be thrown away with the trash.

Whoops.

So she rewrote it, and she must have done awesome!

Dad made a yummy dinner for us tonight....

And we had yummy veggies from the garden.

Oh and watermelon from our garden!

So exciting!!!

But the squash and zucchini were a huge hit with Elsie!!!

She ate a TON!

And we had the big girls taste test to see if they could taste the difference.

Good way to get them to eat it :)

But then Elsie ate the rest.

We got our new phones today.

The kids were very excited, cause that means they get our old ones to play games :)

Cracked screens and all.

Why get rid of them when you can still use them for the games, right?

Oh....and it rained....A LOT!
