My sweet boy got to start preschool today.
He will be going to afternoon preschool....so it made for a long morning of him asking when it was time to go.
We did the gym in the morning and then ran home to pick up a stew that I made for the senior sister luncheon and ran it to the stake center.
When we got back home, I gave the boys a much needed haircut.
Then we got cleaned up and had lunch and then it was time to go.
He was so excited, and so darn cute :)
When I picked him up, he was so excited to tell me about his friends.
He said there was a girl, and her name was Flower.
He said that she thought he was cool and he thought she was pretty.
He seems pretty smitten by her....but we weren't sure of the name.
Then I remembered I had a list of his class, and we figured out her name was Emma.
So he is excited to school on Tuesday to see his new friends, but especially Emma :)

While Port was at school we met the new neighbors that are moving in across the street.
Our sweet neighbors, the Wilkinson's, are selling because Ron is so sick and they are just getting too old to take care of the 6 acres they have.
They sold their house the first day it was on the market, to the first person who saw the house..
(Sounds familiar :)
The buyers were over today talking with Sherry about irrigation and stuff, so we went out and met the Mom and her two boys.
Dad is a Dr. for St. Als and they have two boys, one that will be 5 in October, and a 3 year old.
So sounds like they will be buddies with Porter.
They moved from Chicago and are living in a motel until the close the end of September.
We are kinda hating the change, but it could be fun.
The Wilkinson's are great neighbors....but it makes sense for them to leave.
It is just sad.
I sure hope we can develop a great relationship with these neighbors too.

There was a big storm that rolled in this afternoon.
As I picked up the girls, a crazy storm rolled in.
We got home before the rain started....and the kids thought it was fun to jump out there.
We came in and cut up some watermelon out of our garden....and then the rain hit.
And the kids (except Elsie) wanted to go and play in the rain, until it started to hail!!!!!
Then Madi had a problem changing out of her wet skinny jeans.
I had to help her pry them off :)
Kinda funny.

I had planned to take some bridals this afternoon, and when I made those plans to go downtown for the photos, I thought it would be fun for Brent and I to go to dinner while we were down there.
That was the plan.
There was a break in the clouds, so I thought maybe we would go ahead with it.
So Brent and I went to eat at PF Changs at about 5:30 and planned to meet the client at 7.
But then she called during dinner and decided to cancel, cause she was watching another storm come in....plus everything would be wet and muddy.
So we had our yummy dinner and then did a few errands, including getting me some much needed new running shoes.
Madi did a great job babysitting and even had Elsie bathed when we got home.
It was a fun date night with my man :)
