Sunday August 11

The Thomsons came with us to church for Sacrament meeting, but then they headed for home.

It was a fun time having them here!

I taught sharing time again today...

I think it went much better this time.

I had it on mind for the last week and a half.

I still have a hard time talking in front of the kids and getting out what I want them to get....but I am getting better.

Brent substituted for Madi's teacher today.

I caught his eye as I was telling a story about prayer, and had a hard time finishing it.

But I did.

I have learned that these kids listen and enjoy when they hear a real personal story.

And the meat.....they want the meat.

Not the fluff.

So I am going to try to avoid fluff and give them the meat :)

After church we all needed a rest and nap.

These kids were ALL SO GRUMPY!!!!!

Lack of sleep and their bodies were exhausted too!

So we rested.

And we spent some time outside too while the clouds were covering the hot sun.

Cass took the little ones for a walk down to Bubbles.

Across from Bubbles house, they have some horses.

They hung out with them for a little while.

Cassi sure loves animals!

When we went back, the little ones were fighting, so I took Porter for a little walk while Cassi took Elsie.

Port and I went and checked out the apples....picked one and ate it up.

It was a nice afternoon and then dad made us some Breakfast burritos for dinner.

I hope they aren't all grumpy again tomorrow.
