Monday August 12

We got up this morning and got our workouts done.
Then we got started on the back side of the fence.
We are going to Evanston this weekend for Andy's wedding, and we are bringing some of Grandpas goats back with us.
They are all very excited to pick a goat :)
But we need to finish up the fence.
We got a lot done and should have it finished up tomorrow.
After I got Porter down for his nap, Madi and I went school shopping.
It was a fun time, just she and I.
She has her own little personality....didn't like many of the things I pointed out.
But she sure looks cute in the things she did pick.
We also got her school supplies, so she is all good to go.
While we were out dad sent me a picture of Port's window....and how he had climbed out his window.
Dad and Cassi were inside and they heard the 4-wheeler start...they look out and saw Porter there on the 4-wheeler.
Oh that stinker.
Big stinker.
It took a while before Dad saw the window....he thought Porter just went out the back door.
Dad asked him if that's what he did, and he said 'ya'.
Then Dad saw the window and called for Port to come to him and asked him how he really got out.
Oh that little bugger!
I can't believe he did that!
We are gonna need to fix that for sure.
He worked with Dad for the rest of the time we were shopping.
He hung out down in the field, building houses.
He loves building stuff.
After dinner, it was Madi's turn for FHE.
She had us walk across the rocks barefoot.
She talked about how the pioneers were told to go to Zion, and were blessed once they got there.
So we crossed the rocks, barefoot, and she blessed us with Ice Cream sandwiches when we got there.
It was a fun lesson.
Then we played a bit of volleyball.
Madi is playing with the idea of doing Volleyball in middle school.
I think it would be fun.....

I had Cassi run in and get my camera for some pictures...and she got one through the window :)
Pretty cute.

I know it's dumb....but I have always wanted to tie my hair in a knot, without any hair ties.....and it is finally long enough to do that :)
Kinda cool....

I am glad you got Madi's shopping done- Kara was still hoping to plan a day- I just hadn't called you yet because you had company- and now it sounds like you are leaving- Anyway- a mommy daughter date would still be fun sometime.
Porter is trouble... WE love your daily posts!
