These two are some pretty great helpers.
Not sure how I would get along without them....but it sure would be nice if they would get along :)
Lately, in the mornings, or when I have to leave the house and I leave them behind, I have been leaving them a to-do list of things that need to get done.
It has been working great.
A lot of days the things are the same....but I think they like crossing it off and some times they initial who did it, when they are feeling competitive.
Tonight I had a Relief Society activity.
With Brent working, I left the kiddos at home so I could go mingle with the ladies in the ward.
I left them with a list of things that needed to be done.
They already accomplished a list this morning, so it was really just tidying up.
But I am proud of them for always working hard to get the chores done.
They couldn't unload the dishes like I had on tonight's list, cause the dishwasher got stopped at one point, and didn't finish.
It will be on tomorrows list :)
I am thankful for these two girls who babysit and help me to clean up so this house doesn't look like a complete pig sty!
*****
I ran 3.5 today and then went to the gym for Turbo class.
I am hoping to get 6 tomorrow.
I may try 8 again next week.
Once a week is good for now.
After the gym, Porter and I did the grocery shopping and we got home in just enough time to take Cassi to guitar.
Unloaded and put away in just enough time to go get Cass :)
I worked on Elsie's birthday invitation today.
She is excited for her Buffalo Princess party.
I also got a lot of to-do list items done for primary.
So that is good.
Then we swam for a little bit after Ports nap.
Madi made dinner while I showered and headed out to Relief Society.
It was a pretty productive day I guess :)
Now I need to get to bed cause Port and Elsie have to be to the dentist at 8:30 tomorrow morning.
Port should sleep too....he is sitting on the couch waiting for me.
That kid.
He's kinda spoiled.
