When the girls got home today, we put them right to work.
We had a chord of wood that we needed to load and deliver to a neighbor who bought it from us.
Madi and I got started before Cassi got home from school.
We had it loaded by the time she got home, but she headed to the neighbor to help unload it all.
When Dad brought the girls home, Madi came in and helped take care of the kiddos for me to make some dinner and Cassi spent some time with Dad.
They did some other chores, but then they started having some shooting practice with Dads new gun.
I guess I could say it was our anniversary present :)
Cassi loved having the time with Dad.
When They came in, Port went to Dad with a very serious face and asked Dad "Were you shooting our gun without me?"
"Ya buddy, I am sorry, you wanna shoot....."
By then it was dinner time and getting dark.
So they will have to make plans to go shooting when Dad gets home off shift.
It was just cute when he said "Our Gun."
Port and Dad went together to find it.
Then after dinner, we all cuddled together to watch "The odd life of Timothy Green".
It was a good day.
