Oh my goodness!

We had a really fun day today.

Last week Brent was asked if he would drive the Boise Broncos Firetruck in the Veterans Day parade.

He thought it would be fun and that it would be really fun for the kiddos.

So we left the house at 8:30 this morning to head to station 2 to pick up the truck.

It is a fun truck.

It is used a lot for tailgating or parties, and of course parades....

It has a grill and a flat screen TV on the side.

Pretty cool stuff.

But man, it was a COLD day!

We kept the little ones in the cab with us and the big girls rode in the back with a group of other fire fighter kiddos.

Everyone had a great time.

But I think Elsie had the most fun.

She was waving and smiling and yelling 'HI, HI' to everyone.

She was working the crowd and they were loving her!!!

I have an awesome video that I need to post of Elsie in action......but it is late right now, so I will do it later.

Brent and I had a date night tonight.

We went to a place we have been wanting to try for.....like 6 years.

Fusion Asian grill.

We were very happy with it.

We thought the food was great, and the cute little family who owns it were just so sweet.

Then after dinner we went grocery shopping.

Romantic, I know :)

But it was fun.
