Friday November 9

Brent worked for a few hours this morning.

We thought he would get a whole shift, but it didn't work out.

When he came home, they called him back, and then sent him home before he got to the station.

Oh well.

At least he got the few hours this morning.

And he had a chance to cut down more trees and burn more branches.

The big girls helped out a lot once they got home from school.

And of course Port was a great helper with the tractor.

Elsie liked running around for a little bit before I took her in with me to cook dinner.

Brent drug the big trees to the bottom of the field to cut later for fire wood, and burned the smaller branches.

The kids thought it made for a fun ride :)

We were gonna go to the school for family movie night, but it was getting late and we all smelled like smoke.

So we decided to just get our own movie and get some ice cream.

It was a good day :)
