Wednesday October 3

I am the art smart mom for Elsie's class.
Today was our first day.
We are given a certain artist.
Then we give a little lesson to the kids about the artists, then they get to create a piece in the way the artist would.
We had Jackson Pollock today.
I did not want to have a room full of kindergartners splattering paint everywhere....
So i did some looking around and found someone do it with kids using shoelaces.
Well, I didn't want to buy shoelaces for 24 kiddos.....
So I bought fat noodles for the kids to use.
Well, it turned out pretty great.
All except for the fact that it took about 30 minutes from start to clean-up.....and I needed to fill an hour.
Luckily I had a couple moms there to help me and we played a few games and did some fun stuff, and the kids stayed happy :)
It was fun, and I just love how much her class loves Elsie bug.

(Here is a picture of our amazing Miss. Jodi....we just love her!)

Tomorrow is Madi's big day.
Regional Cross Country meet.
She is excited.
While she was watching Porter for me while I went to pick up Elsie from her friend Andie's house (it was Andie's birthday today and she wanted Elsie to come and play.)
Anyway....while Madi was watching Port, she twisted her leg on the trampoline, and pulled a muscle in her hip.....
She has been doing a bunch of yoga stretches and stuff to try and loosen it.
Hopefully she wakes up tomorrow and it doesn't bug her.

She was relaly helpful with Porter...
He loves to hang out with Madi.

It almost looks like a river behind Madi and Porter. Great picture.

Miss Elsie's picture is so perfect! Her eyes and her smile are priceless!
