Oh we are so proud of Madi Bell.
She finished up Cross country with a bang!
She had a goal to beat her previous time AND to come in within the first 100 out of over 300 kids.
Well, her time......
10:51!
And she came in #78!
She did so good, and pushed so hard.
She ran all out.
She gave it all she had.
We are very proud of her.
The meet was at Kleiners park.
They had the course marked off, and it included running up the giant hill.
They don't ever do hills!
She did so great and had so much fun.
When she crossed the line, she could hardly breathe and her lips had turned white....
But she took deep breaths and was feeling better pretty quick.
And then she was just energized and pumped.
As she should be :)
Madi had her finger on her watch getting ready to stop the timer as soon as she crossed the finish line.
She was giving it all she had!

So Madi's cross country season time (for a mile and a half) went from 14:47 to 10:51.
Pretty dang awesome!
