Tuesday July 3

Port and I had a lot of fun making him a little fort this afternoon.
The big girls were boring and just laid around watching a movie together.
Which is fine as long as they aren't fighting :)
Porter had a vision.
He knew just right where he wanted something to be.

Sometimes taking off the connections can be hard....so you got to get your teeth involved :)

I took a picture before this one and he got mad and said he wasn't ready.....
Then he posed his hands and smiled that cheesy smile.
That's when I knew he was ready.
Silly boy.

He was afraid that the breeze was gonna blow it away, so he felt like he needed to hold on.
He finally laid down once I told him it would be okay.

He laid down and wanted me to join him.
The kid cracks me up.
I love the one-on-one conversation with him.
I laugh all the time :)

Making funny faces :)

Trying to give him min kisses.....he didn't think that was okay.

But I guess he know that sometimes you just have to put up with a mama's kisses :)

After a while Cassi joined us.
And we just laid and watched the sheet blow back and forth in front of the sun rays.
*****
Dad came home from work mid-day today.
He had bad migraines and threw up all day.
As in pulling the fire truck over, and throwing up.
Not good.
He came home and stayed in bed for the bulk of the afternoon.
He is finally starting to feel better.
I sure hope this is not gonna happen to him very often.
He does get migraines.....but he said today's was different.
I sure hope this just goes away!!!

Cool fort Porter!
I feel for Uncle Brent. 2 Saturday's ago I had my worst migraine ever. It took me to the ER to get a shot and re-hydrated. Hope he feels better soon!

That is the coolest fort ever. I never would have thought to get PVC pipe and fittings. My kids are still trying to use chairs, etc. We are going to have to try this. Hope your hubby gets feeling better.
