Wednesday July 4

At last Dussy boy......
Here is the 4th of July post!
*****

Here I am, posting about the 4th of July, on the 3rd of February......
One of the main reasons I blog everyday is because I have THE WORST memory!
I don't want to forget my kids childhood the way I forgot mine.
I need to be better about making up those days when it is too late to blog the day of.
I can hardly remember this day.
But luckily....I took lots of pictures :)
And that helps me to remember what we did.
We went to the park by Meridian swimming pool.
Elsie had a blast going up and down the slides.
She doesn't like those big bouncy slides that they put up.
But Porter loves them.
Madi stuck with Porter the whole time.
That was very helpful.
I remember Cassi waiting in the rock climbing line FOREVER!!!!
I told her that maybe she shouldn't have worn a skirt :)
We talked Porter into trying the rock wall.
He did awesome....just like Spider Man.
Cassi did a great job too, but she didn't reach the top because the harness wasn't very comfy on her legs....
Next time we will be sure to NOT wear a skirt :)
We ALWAYS get ourselves some snow cones for the 4th of July (when we come here anyway....)
So we got in line.
It was taking FOREVER!!!!!
Brent took the kids and started to do some of the little firework things we bought....like snakes and stuff.
He soon got a little crowd of kids watching.
Our kiddos thought that was pretty cool.
Then they had a blocked off area where you could do bigger fireworks....
So while I was still in line, he took them to that spot and I sent Madi with the camera :)
Had to have those pictures.
Finally we got our snow cones and found our spot out on the field.
We had earmuffs all ready for Elsie....she does not like the loud fireworks!
The earmuffs worked really good.
Once we got home, little bug when right to bed.
She was worn out.
The others wanted to go out and light the sparklers.
They had fun.
It was a fun day, from what I remember :).
