Sunday January 15

We needed to come up with some way to teach Porter to be reverent for primary.
He is a Sunbeam now....a young one....but still, a sunbeam.
So sitting still is kinda rough for him.
*
He has a Buzz toy.
But he doesn't talk or do anything cool.
Porter has been asking for quite some time now for a 'Buzz with buttons that talks'!!!
I used that and came up with an idea.

First I printed off a picture of Buzz.

Then I printed another one, just like it, on blank address labels.

Each time he goes to his primary class....or if he does the things at home that he needs to work on.....he gets a sticker.
And he places the sticker on the same spot on the other picture.
He seems very excited about this idea.....
All I have to do it mention the sticker and he shapes up right away.
Lets hope this works out :)

Also.....our blender has been on the fritz.
Dad has been loving his smoothies at night time.
So he was in a bind tonight......
I was gone at a meeting for primary and he sent me this picture......

He came up with an alliterative way to make his smoothies :)
He is such a smarty!

I really enjoyed the meeting I went to.
The primary presidency got together and gathered the parents of the children in our ward with special needs.
They wanted to get an idea on how to best help these kids.
It was really neat to get together and get to know each other better.
I wish I could have taken Brent with me.....but he stayed home with the kiddos.....
And fixed the blender :)

What a wonderful primary presidency! Are there quite a few children in the Primary with special needs?

Brent's "fix" for the blender reminds me of a part in this documentary:

I think Brent would find it fascinating to watch:

What an awesome idea with the labels. I really like that. It is a cute picture of Porter too.
Brent sure is creative!
and that is a neat thing for the primary presidency to do.
