Thursday November 17

Today I went to Elsie's class to celebrate Thanksgiving.
The class made Stone Soup together while reading along with the book.
Each kid brought a can of food to put in the pot.
It was a big hit....
And they actually cooked it and they ate it.
Elsie Rose ate the whole thing, which kinda surprised me!
The also made their own butter by shaking whipping cream in a baby food jar.
Elsie was pretty proud of her butter.

It was a fun afternoon.
I just love her teachers and the other little ones in her class.
I am glad that we put her in another year of preschool, instead of Kindergarten.
She has grown so much in these last few months.
Speaking of growing....
Elsie's PT Katie came over today....and somehow we got her to try walking up the stars without holding onto anything.
We got her to put her hands in her pockets and climb the stairs.
THIS IS HUGE!!!!!
She did so awesome and surprised us all!
The first couple times she stepped up one or two, then held the wall...but then she started going up all four!
I grabbed my phone and got this little video.
She falls down in the end when my big loud laugh startled her....but make sure to check out those cute little pointed piggies at the end!

Elsie....we think you are just AMAZING!!!!!
