Friday June 10

It was a great day with lots of fun adventures!
It included backhoes, dump trucks, little kittens, cousin time, and of course STRIP time!
It was a great day.
There will be plenty more tomorrow.
I need sleep.
**************
Cont.
It was a great day for Porter!
He got to help the boys out.
The are leveling out the ground to put up the new garage for Grandma.
So that meant the use of some heavy equipment.
And they needed some of Ports help to run it all.
(That is what he thought anyway.)
Uncle Dave helped Port out in the back hoe.
They moved the rocks and dirt onto the foundation spot....so that it could be leveled out.
Port has himself a special Wyoming outfit.
I didn't think a pair of Wranglers could get any cuter!
Then he got to help Uncle Doug dump the load of more rocks out of the dump truck.
He was a very happy boy!!!
The big girls found a batch of brand new wild kittens.
They spent quite a lot of time with these kitties.
Then Heather and Lauren called and we took the girls to Randolph for the bulk of the afternoon.
I wish I had pictures of them and all the fun they had there.....but they had a blast!
They didn't come home until almost 10:00 at night.
Elsie and I took a little walk out in the pasture to take Strip her apple that Elsie brought for her.
We called for her and she came right away.
I know Strip loves Elsie as much as Elsie loves her Strip.
We also got to spend a lot of fun time with cousins....and second cousins....
Bridger and Porter are only a few weeks apart in age.
These two have so many of the same facial expressions!
They could be twins.
It was fun to get to hang out with him, and his Mommy!

They are such boys!
They sat inside Grandmas house and watched the back hoe, stomper thing, and dump truck working outside.
Dad didn't get to do any of the heavy duty work.
But he was assigned to fix the water that was filling up in the basement,
Port went with Dad, way under the house.
Dad got a sump pump to pump in all out and it will work great.
Port was trying hard to figure out a good solution for this problem.
Then Dad did some explaining on how the sump pump was working.
Elsie and Grandma hung out a lot today.
Elsie sure loves to spend time with Grandma.
They sat out on the bench for quite a long time watching the boys work.
Port had some more work to do in the back hoe.
I love the excited look on his face.
He really did believe he was doing all the work.
Then it was finally Strip time!
That is one VERY happy girl who loves this horse more than pretty much anything!
A good shot of Elsie and Strip, and Dad.
But look at the water in the back ground.
I cannot believe how much water there is out there!
It has been causing lots of trouble....hope it goes down soon.
Elsie was kind enough to share her Strip time with Porter.
Port kept getting swatted by Strips tail.
He was pretty funny to watch.
I think Strip didn't want him on there....she just wanted her Elsie on there.  :)
