Today was kinda a crazy day....it seemed to be one thing after another.
But there were a few quiet times in between.
Port was a great kid today while the kids were in school.
We hung out together and fixed our peas in the garden.
Apparently we didn't check good enough when we set up our garden boxes.
We turned on the sprinklers last night, and when I went out this morning, I found my beautiful pea plants thrown all over the yard.
The sprinkler head was right smack dab in the middle of my peas in the garden.
So I spent some time trying to salvage what I could.
Dang-it.
Oh well.
But here is what Port did, after he helped me, of course.
Just sitting in his fire truck, with his fire helmet on....eating a spoon of chunky peanut butter.
And guess what?
He is taking naps too!
YAY!
We just pulled the mattress our of the crib and threw it on the floor until we can find a twin size mattress to go in his bed.
He is gonna get Elsie's bed....and I have big plans for new beds for Elsie and Cassi.
They are gonna be so cute!!!!!
Maybe I will finally finish the blanket that has sat unfinished for over five years now so they can have matching quilt tops.
Maybe.
Anyway, I am so glad he is still napping.
Last night was his first night with it on the floor like this, and he did good.
He got up once, but I just laid him back down, and he went back to sleep.
This may just work!
(Yes, i know he has pink bears on his sheets.....his manly sheets were dirty!)
And here is a shot of Elsie's new railing.
She is a pretty spoiled girl, with what is very quickly turning into a pretty deluxe playhouse!

Adorable! Are you going to stain the steps or paint them?
Can't wait to see the new beds...
