New trees!

I am so excited about our new trees.
I love the feeling that it gives to the backyard!
I can't wait to see them next year when they really flourish!!!

Drew helped Brent get the big trees in...Thanks Drew.
Then the Young girls stayed and played with us today...we went swimming and they even helped Brent wash the car and truck.
And they were rewarded with sno-cones!
Mmmm!
Then we had a fun BBQ tonight out at Star with Pat and Steve and Drew and Heather...and their girls.
We got to know Drew's station crew...and had a lot of fun!
Thanks for the invite guys.

The sleepover on the tramp last night was a success...well, success unless you think you need sleep for it to be a success...cause they didn't get much of that!
There is a stray cat who lives in our yard.
Without Tanger here, it actually comes out from under the deck.
Well, last night at about 4:00, Brent heard Cassi scream...and he saw the cat trying to cuddle up to her!
Dang cats!
I hate cats!
I hope Brent whacked him hard enough off of Cassi to keep him away for good!
Cassi also commented about Brent's snoring...all I could say was..."I know, I am sorry."
Madi seems to sleep right through the night no problem...except they were up way too late waiting for it to get dark to look at the stars.

Porter and I had a sleepover.
He kept waking up, so I finally just put him in bed with me.
Well, then he took over the whole bed...so I laid at the bottom, where he couldn't reach me.
Little stinker.
So Elsie is the only one who got a great nights sleep!

So are they just shade trees then or will they produce anything? Your yard does look more complete with a few more trees to provide shade and privacy.
They look very comfy on the tramp. Cassi almost looks like her head is under that one pillow. Looks like they lost a few blankets over night.

We have a stray cat at our house too. It likes to sleep on the roof of my husband's SUV. We find cat prints all over his hood and windshield, which wouldn't be a big deal except for the car is black! Our dog barks and barks and barks but the cat couldn't care less.
