Another Thursday...

It was kind of a slow morning...

Nothing much happening...

Then we did some stuff outside...Brent is making new doors for me for another project of mine...

Elsie had speech therapy today...

Then we decided to do our Mothers Day dinner before the weekend hits!

So we headed to Texas Roadhouse!

I wanted those rolls...

I wanted them so bad that I even forgot to look at the menu until the waitress came for the order!

Woops!

Porter was in the high chair in the isle...and I can't even tell you how many waitresses he man-handled in the isle...

Little turkey!

But they all turned and gave him big smiles...which of course gave him incentive to continue his rotten behavior!!!

Came home and the kids did homework...

I went out with Porter and did some sanding on the said earlier project...and Porter had so much fun playing in the dust specks floating in, lit from the evening sunlight.

I just thought this was a fun whimsical picture...

He was having a fun time!

More great Elsie news!
She has been working REALLY hard at school on holding her pencil correctly.
She usually would hold it in a fist with her thumb down toward the paper.
But she has been working VERY hard...and she is totally getting it!

You can tell how hard it is for her to hold it like that.
She continues and she works so hard and it will get easier and easier the more she does it!
Elsie Rose, you are so awesome!!!

I just LOVE her too!
