Favs #73/365

I LOVE helping with homework...
...when she doesn't fight me to do it.
Usually she does...
...unless it is something FUN like this!!!
Madi is writing a report about African Elephants for her class.
They are suppossed to make a Habitat of what animal they chose.
Look what Madi wanted to do.
I am helping her, somewhat...which I can...
But instead of sewing, I bought some material glue, so she can do it, instead of me sewing it for her.
Don't you love her ideas?
We looked through pictures on the internet and she found a great landscape picture,
and that is what she is trying to make here.
Obviously it is not done yet...I will be sure to show you her finished project...
But we had a lot of fun tonight doing this.
We don't seem to fight as much when we are doing some kind of art project!

That is nice you like to do homework with you kids.....that is something I really don't like doing, and Nathan usually ends up doing it. I love that Madi is so creative. She really is amazing. Some day you will be the best of friends......because you are so much alike. :)

Madi is awesome! That is such a great idea, and so awesome that you put it in HER hands with the fabric glue so she can OWN that project! What an incredible Mom and homework helper you are!
