So, with my new calling I've been making fun family introduction videos of people in the ward.
I started with the bishopric......before I knew Brent would be in it!!!!
So we reshot some footage and I edited it and posted that on our Ward Facebook.
I should post it here 😏
Anyway, embarrassing, but fun.
We did some mudding on the fireplace.
I think it's looking really nice.
It's very exciting!
After dinner, were did it family scripture study.
We are trying to get back into a good habit of that.
Then Dad and I had our ARP meeting.
It was a great meeting.
Step 7 is about humility.
Asking God to remove our shortcomings.
Man, it takes humility to be able to recognize our shortcomings!!!!??
There has been a lot this week that have helped me see the importance of being humble.
And if we are humble we can see that God has a much better plan than we do.
Afterwards, one of the guys in the ghetto e called us and asked for some additional help taking with his fiance.
It's so hard being the lived one of someone with an addiction.
Especially when you have no one to talk to.
That's the boat I was in, and it was a scary lonely boat.
So I'm so grateful for the chance to maybe be that person that someone can take to when they are so scared and alone ❤️
Why go through the crap we go through if we can't use what we learn to help others who have to go through the same crap???
It's an endless cycle of helping one another through the hard times.
It's a pretty beautiful thing.
