Saturday December 5 - Sunday December 6

I totally forgot to blog last night.

I got a lot of stuff done yesterday and I think I was jut so excited to get to bed!!!!!

I had a lot of to-do stuff, so it feels good to get on top of that.

Still have lots more to do......but trying to just chill.

Cause it is just stuff.

No need to stress!

And today, well it seems our Sundays will be pretty crazy :)

But today especially.

It was Fast Sunday, so Dad will have lot of morning meetings before church.

He actually got today off from work, but he still missed one meeting and half of another.

The kids had Sunday school by Zoom before church.

Then we got to church and it was just so nice to be there.

I know some churches are closing again.....I am grateful we have everyone willing to wear masks and stay far away from each other.

After church, Cassi brought the kids home and Dad and I had a meeting.

I am a ward missionary and he is assigned to the ward missionaries, so that works out great.

That is a meeting we will have every Sunday after church.

We just got a new ward mission leader and he is pretty fired up and gung ho.

He is new to our ward, but they have been in the Shafer view several years ago before one of the splits.

So it is good to be back with the Huff family.

And actually, I have been working with Serena, his wife, on a little Christmas for a sweet family.

I actually had to catch a ride home after the meeting because Dad had to stay a bit longer :)

Dad came home a little later, then we all left again for tithing settlement.

Then we were home for good!!!!!

Dad made a yummy dinner.

I know.

I am a jerk, right???

I should have made the dinner.

That is something I need to get better at.

Not only the making, but the planning ahead!!!!!

Anyway, like always, he kicked dinner out of the ballpark.

We did Come Follow Me.

Then we watched the First presidency Christmas devotional while I put light on the Christmas tree.

We will do the ornaments tomorrow.

I am worn out.

Today's day of rest was NOT very restful :)

And I totally forgot to get the Sunday picture of us....when would I have done it anyway!!!

Ha ha ha!

But I did take a picture of the kiddos singing along with the tabernacle choir.
